Everything revolves around geo
The Netherlands has a wealth of one particular extraordinary raw material: geographical information, otherwise known as geo. This raw material is finding a broader range of applications, but supply does not yet always match demand as well as it might. The Ruimte voor Geo-Informatie (Space for Geo-Information, RGI) innovation programme is investing 20 million euros as an incentive to projects that bring geo specialists and geo users together. In return, geo is improving administrative efficiency and the power of industry. The film ‘Everything revolves around geo’ presents a layman's view of geo-information's role in today's world. The film features three RGI projects.
